What is peak city students?
Peak City Students is a youth ministry uniquely designed with your middle and high schooler in mind! Every Wednesday all students (6th-12th grade) experience a safe, fun environment where they'll have fun, worship, and learn from the Bible in large and small group settings. We would love to see your 6-12th grader at Peak City Students!
what we value
Faith
We empower teenagers to take initiative to pray according to God's will, read the Bible, and build Christ-centered relationships. With Jesus at the center, they will learn that their lives have purpose and that they can find their true identities. We equip all leaders and parents with biblical resources and spiritual direction to disciple students and empower them in their gifts to love and serve others.
Friendship
We believe Christ-like friendships point to the gracious friendship we have with God through Jesus. We're in this together! One of our Big Rules is that students welcome and introduce themselves to new kids. Teens partner together and team up in opening activities. In small groups, we break the ice and pray for one another. Students are encouraged to bring their friends and invite their neighbors every week.
FUN
When students have fun at youth group, they'll want to return and invite their friends. Wednesdays begin with team sports and competitive activities. Every quarter we host events like Nerf Wars or Skate Nights. We partner with other youth groups for joint worship and games. Students look forward to our Winter Retreats and Summer Camps, too!

☀️ REGISTER for SUMMER CAMP 2025! June 16-20, current 6th-12th graders are invited to Southern Wesleyan University where they will compete in team games, choose unique track activities, make friendships, worship together, and grow in their relationship with Jesus. This will be the most fun event of the year!
The all-inclusive total cost will be $450 per student. $75 non-refundable deposits are due by February 1st. There are currently 14 spots remaining! Please pay your deposit at peakcity.church/give and specify SUMMER CAMP in the comment section. Click here for site, speaker, and activity info. WINTER JAM @ PNC ARENA
Peak City Students is going to Winter Jam 2025! Middle schoolers and high schoolers are invited to PNC Arena on February 14th for a Valentine's Day concert with Skillet, Anne Wilson, KB and more!
We will meet at Peak City Church HQ (1000 Old Raleigh Rd) @ 3:45pm to tailgate with other youth groups. Doors open at 6pm and the show begins at 7pm. We plan to return by midnight. Please bring $15 as a cash donation.

We're hosting a STUDENT CAN DRIVE now through Wednesday, February 5th. Bring in extra cans from your pantry or buy some and bring them to Students each Wednesday. We will donate to the Western Wake Crisis Ministry. Final collection day: Wednesday, Feb 5. We will add our collection to the whole church collection on February 9th.

NEXT GENERATION PASTOR
Austin serves Peak City Church as the Next Generation Pastor, leading the Kids and Student Ministries. He has over seven years of church ministry and teaching experience, becoming an ordained pastor in April 2023.
Austin has been happily married to his wife Christina since October 2021. He enjoys drumming, movies, writing, and game nights.
